Developing The Leader Within You by John Maxwell talks about the different qualities that the leader has to have The first chapter of the book, the author talks about leadership as an influence, to achieve the right influence, John divides leadership growth into five levels in which someone can influence.
The first is by position, the second is because someone has granted permission, the third level is production, the fourth level is human development, where the leader focuses on helping to develop the potential in others. And the fifth level is the personality, a level that few reach, since this requires many years of experience.
The second chapter talks about priorities. Talk about having 4 types of priorities: most important / utmost urgency Great importance / little urgency Little importance / utmost urgency, Little importance / little urgency.
The third chapter speaks of the integrity that manifests itself when a leader complies with what he claims to be, is associated with congruence. Integrity makes you a dependable person which ultimately translates into positive reputation.
