Reading Success Story

When my oldest son, Steven, was in the third grade, I took a speed-reading class at BYU and I felt that he could learn this too. He did. We kept track of his reading during that year and his speed went from 100 words a minute to over 4,200. During that year he read 1,000 books, which was his personal goal---and skipped one grade. (He later became a millionaire, and his brother, following this format, became a university professor).
